Methodological approaches

It is always a challenge for a teacher to find the approaches and methods best or most appropriate for her/his pupils. Most teachers have also experienced that the ways we work with reading may have a great influence of the development of the pupils' reading proficiency and their attitudes to reading in general. 

This chapter focuses upon some methodological approaches to reading that can be used to improve pupils' reading skills and language proficiency and make them benefit in the best possible way from their reading lessons.
